Bloomfield Farms Pizza Dough

I’m still working my way through the huge box of Bloomfield Farms products!  I decided to try the pizza dough the other night.  I have only attempted to make my own Gluten Free pizza once before and I have to say it didn’t go well.  The act of rolling out dough is not something I do often due to time and kids.

Finished pizza

I decided to follow the directions for the thin crust pizza and made two 9″ pies.  One I topped with pepperoni and the other BBQ Chicken!

The dough was actually pretty easy to prepare.  I only deviated by making two smaller balls of dough instead of one big ball.  Other than that I followed the instructions on the box.  Once the dough is ready you bake it for 10 minutes, let it cool, then add toppings and bake for another 10 minutes.

Cooked dough, cooling

The end result was a tasty thin pizza crust.  It had a nice crunch and it held up well to the toppings without getting soggy.  Next time I’m going to try the thick crust recipe and let the dough rise to see how it does!

Pizza and birthday cake seem to be the holy grail of gluten free baking. I recently reviewed a product that’s out right now that may be even more effective than the gluten free diet (and it’s a natural, drug-free one-time treatment – they offer a money back guarantee that you will find relief)!
