My Gluten Free Week

We started the week with dinner at my hubby’s boss house.  They did a great job of making a Gluten Free meal for us.  I brought Cheesecake for dessert.  It was a big hit.

I have just about finalized my black bean sweet potato burger recipe.  When I get it right I’ll share it.  Here is my latest attempt topped with avocado ranch.

We just had a Five Guys open in our town!  So excited!!! Amazing burgers and GF Fries.  Just order it without the bun.  The fries are the only fried item on the menu so no cross contamination issues.

Friday night was pizza night.  I went with Bella Monica pizza that I topped with GF Turkey pepperoni and more cheese.

I also received a box full of Bloomfield Farms Gluten Free flour that I ordered.  It is my favorite GF mix.  I have written reviews on a number of their products.

My craft for the week was to make a GF flour container.  I got the 5 lb OXO plastic container from TJ Maxx then used my cricut to make vinyl letters for it.  I love how it turned out!  Makes me feel normal to scoop my GF flour out of a canister instead of a box or bag.

I have a large box of fresh blueberries we bought from a local you-pick farm.  Any blueberry recipe suggestions?

Freezer Meals are big right now and I LOVE how much easier my life is with them.  My first post on them was super popular due to the Pinterest love!  Here is my second Freezer Meal post.  If I can make freezer meals during nap time you can do it in your buy life too!

I like the way you labeled your canister. Right now I depend on recognizing what’s in the canister. Sometimes I guess wrong, especially on the different flours and grains. We’ve had some unexpected results doing that.

Thanks for the blog love! I have that same exact OXO canister for my GF flour blend too actually, I labeled mine with my good ol’ P-touch šŸ™‚ I agree, I much prefer it to the bags.

I recently made these chicken tostadas with blueberry-peach salsa from How Sweet Eats and they were amazing, I loved the sweet & savory flavor combination –
