Bunch of Product Reviews

I have been trying a bunch of new Gluten Free products recently and wanted to let you know about them.  Some were great finds and other were just ok.  In an attempt to help you save some money and buy some good stuff here you go!

Disclaimer: I used my money to buy these products and the opinions are mine.

Ian’s Onion Rings
Pros – Gluten Free onion rings!  And they are legit!  If you cook them in the oven you get a great crunch with every bite.  Great alternative to making your own.
Cons –  The taste is good but it doesn’t have a strong flavor.  To take them to the next level I put season salt in ranch and used that for dip.
Would buy again.

Applegate Gluten Free Chicken Nuggets
Pros – These cook up really quick in the microwave.  The breading is very tasty!
Cons – They are a little mushy when microwaved.  Unfortunately I ate them too fast to cook any in the oven.
Would buy again.

Saffron Road Chicken Bites
Pros – The breading is good.  The chicken is real white meat pieces of meat.
Cons – The chicken was kind of dry once cooked.
Might buy again.

Perdue Simply Smart Gluten Free Chicken Tenders
Pros – Winner winner chicken dinner!  This is an awesome chicken tender!  The breading is good and the chicken is real chicken.  Great option for a fast lunch or dinner.
Cons – There is a little bit of an odd after taste.
Will buy again.

Trader Joe’s Polenta Provencale
Pros – Easy one dish meal.  The sauce is very good.  It has polenta, spinach and peas in a cream sauce!  Cooks very fast.  Find it in the freezer section.
Cons – Only found at Trader Joe’s
Will buy again.

Feel Good Foods GF Chicken Dumplings
Pros – The taste was good and so was the dipping sauce.  I had this at a trade show and they were super good.
Cons – I had an epic fail when I cooked them.  Not sure what I did wrong but they stuck to the pan and there was no browning.
Might buy again.

Hopefully this will help guide you through some new Gluten Free products!  I’m always looking for new products to try.  If you have any suggestions let me know!!
