The Get Fit Program from F3 Foods @f3foods

Imagine freshly prepared gourmet meals showing up at your doorstep.  Now imagine they are not only Gluten Free but healthy.  Let me introduce F3 Foods.  They are a fresh meal delivery system that can provide you with a 7 day program, 28 day program or an al la cart program.

The meals arrive fresh on dry ice, you put them in the fridge and then enjoy.  Some you have to heat in the microwave and others you eat cold.  I tried the 7 day program that included 7 breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

The Get Fit Program had a number of benefits for me personally.  First, it made life super easy for me while hubby was gone on a trip.  I had all my meals ready for the entire week.  It was like the best gift ever!  I had to cook for the kiddos but I was set.  Second, the food was good and enjoyable to eat.  I could say and understand all the ingredients  These meals are not filled with preservatives or fillers, just real food.  Third, I did drop 3 pounds on the plan.  The plan is targeted to help you lose weight due to it’s portion control and healthy food balance.  Finally, it helped me make good eating decisions all week.  All the meals are low carb and I hardly had any carbs all week, all my snacking was healthy and I made good drinking choices – water.

The plan comes with a helpful booklet that guides you through the plan.  It has tips and tricks to help you stay on track and enjoy the food.

I did have food outside of the plan because I prefer to have 5 smaller meals than 3 large meals.  I’m also a snacker so I had to be prepared for that.

My days looked like this:
7am – Smoothie filled with fruit and veggies
9am – F3 Foods egg breakfast
1pm – F3 Foods lunch
3pm – Salad or veggies
6pm – F3 Foods dinner
I found this was enough food to keep me going and not hungry.

The plan does cost a pretty penny.  For us it wouldn’t be part of our regular budget at $199 a week for one person, however there are a few weeks a year where I would love to have these meals ready for me so I didn’t have to cook and could just focus on the kids while hubby is away.

Since I enjoyed breakfast and lunch at work my co-workers got to see and smell all my yummy meals.  One lady would stop by every day to see what I had.  One day she said that the meal smelled great, I told her it tasted good too.  I then read her the list of ingredients.  Her response was, “you could totally make that yourself” my replay was, “yes, but I didn’t have to!”  She smiled and agreed.

I see the F3 Foods Get Fit Program as a great way to get your eating habits back on track, to help you make good eating decisions and for the uber convenience of having healthy, Gluten Free meals ready whenever you need one.

The process of ordering is very easy.  You just go online and pick the meals you want, when you want them delivered and then enjoy.  Since the meals are fresh and aren’t filled with junk, you do have a short window to enjoy them.  I was able to get through all of mine but 1 due to eating out.  I do want to say when I did eat out I had a salad with meat and no carbs.

F3 Foods is being very generous and giving you guys a discount code if you want to try out the Get Fit Program.  Use code: XBLG13 for $50 off a 7 day program or $100 off a 28 day program.

Enjoy!
