From One Adventure to Another

Vacation this week has been wonderful.  The kids did super except for one day, but I figure that isn’t bad considering we dragged a 5 year old and 2, 2 year olds around for 5 days.  We spent most of our time in the pool.  We were surprised by how much the kids enjoyed it.  Without boring you with cheesy mom stories I will just say I’m super proud of our kids for being so brave.  They also loved playing at the beach.  The ocean was scary at first and then a source of pure joy for the kids.

The food was also great this week.  Another successful Gluten Free trip in the books.  It is possible to travel and eat safe Gluten Free food guys.  I promise!  We did follow the meal plan and cook most of our meals in our condos.  This helps so much with budgets, cross contamination and having safe food.  For our big family dinners I just made the whole meal Gluten Free.  The other 8 Gluten-eaters didn’t complain and cleaned their plates.  We did eat out 2 nights at restaurants and I will share about those in a different post.

Seems like we are always going from one adventure to another.  This week we had a family vacation to the beach, Friday is a big Gluten Free dinner with some GF powerhouses and then Saturday is the GFAF Wellness Event in Raleigh, NC.

If you are within driving distance of Raleigh, NC it is so worth the trip!  We have a full house of almost 60 vendors, a killer speaker list and tons of Gluten Free SWAG!  Here are all the details: gfafwellnessevent.com.

I speak at 12:45pm and I will have a table for my books and Gluten Makes Me Sick t-shirts.  I also have some fun free gifts for anyone who makes a purchase.  Can’t wait to see you there.  Make sure you come say hi!

One more change I want to share is that we are working on a redesign of the website.  I have been hesitant to update it for a while, but I know now is the time.  I hope to have the new site up in a couple weeks.  It will still have all the awesome recipes, reviews, giveaways and menus that you know and love.  The format will look different and it will allow you to more easily find what you need.  With the new website reveal will come a reveal party with giveaways!

Thanks for going on adventures with me!
Pam
