Modern Oats, Giving New Life to Oatmeal

Are you an oatmeal fan or where you scared by lumpy, googey oatmeal as a child?  Do you long for some flavor and texture in your oatmeal?  As a person living Gluten Free, oatmeal is often off limits due to cross contamination with wheat.  So if you do venture into a bowl of oatmeal you need to make sure they are certified Gluten Free and processed in safe facilities.

Modern Oats | ImaCeliac.com

If you are looking for a tasty, safe and convenient Gluten Free oatmeal let me tell you about Modern Oats.  This awesome brand is taking a new creative twist to old fashioned oatmeal.  This isn’t your grandma’s oatmeal, guys!  This is certified Gluten Free, Non-GMO, whole grain rolled oats mixed with seeds, nuts and fruit.  Modern Oats serves their oats in convenient single serve cups that are easy to use and awesome for eating on the go.   There are six different flavors to choose from including Apple Walnut, 5 Berry, Goji Blueberry, Mango Blackberry, Chocolate Cherry and Nuts & Seeds.

Each container is filled with tons of protein and FIBER!  Us Gluten Free peeps need that fiber!  The oatmeal has around 300 calories per container so it is a perfect breakfast or mid-morning pick me up.  I was able to try 3 different flavors and enjoyed them all at my desk for breakfasts.

The instructions are super easy and the oatmeal cooks really fast.  I just used a coffee mug in the microwave to heat up the water, then pour the hot water into the oatmeal, cover and let cook.

Aspects of Modern Oats that I really dig:

1. The are certified Gluten Free and processed in a dedicated Gluten Free facility

2. This isn’t your grandma’s oatmeal!  It is smooth, creamy oatmeal mixed with nuts, fruit and seeds

3. Super convenient for a meal on the go

4. The nutrient contain is such that it fills you up with good stuff and doesn’t have filler ingredients

5. You get “superfoods”  super fast

6. You aren’t just limited to eating the oatmeal out of the container.  Their website has fun recipes that you can incorporate the oatmeal into.  Each container also comes with a cookie recipe!  Sadly I ate all mine before I could make cookies out of them.

If you want to give Modern Oats a try you can buy them on their website or use their store locator to find a retailer near you.

Or you can enter this awesome giveaway for a CASE of Modern Oatmeal shipped right to you!

I’ve never tried goji berries, so methinks that that would have to be my choice! But I LOVE nuts and seeds….you know what, I’ll take any of ’em!
