Gluten Free Weekly Menu March 30 2015

How was your weekend?  Do anything fun?  Find any new Gluten Free goodies?

We enjoyed a few new GF treats.  We started with the new Gluten Free pizza from Freschetta.  Besides the price ($12!) we really enjoyed this pizza.  Hubby even raved about it.  The next GF find was Pillsbury Funfetti cake mix.  With the help of the kiddos we made Gluten Free Funfetti cupcakes.  I didn’t have to doctor the cake mix at all and the cupcakes came out tasty.  I froze half of them for birthday parties.  The final GF treat was dinner from a GF Food Truck, Bang Bang Bahn Mi.  I will share more about it this week, but let me tease you with meatball sub!

GF Finds

This week when I went to get our groceries a bunch of meat was on sale so I altered my original menu plan and took advantage of the savings.  I also bought extra meat for future weeks and just froze it, this made this week’s grocery bill higher which allows us to save down the road.

We love the pizzas too! I found a 2 pack for $14.99 at Bjs (membership club like Costco). I also just found the funfetti cake and cookie mix at Walmart! I’m so excited to see gf expanding more and more:)

I like the Pizza a lot myself. My daughter makes me a lot of stuff with Bob’s Red Mill 1to1 flour also.
