Fun multivitamins your kiddos will ask for!
Getting our kiddos to eat healthy food is a continual battle. Not only are 2 of our 3 kids living a Gluten Free lifestyle they are also very picky eaters. I’ve mentioned this before, but if our kiddos are eating veggies it is either because we have bribed them or threatened them. “Eat all your green beans and you can have dessert” or “Until you eat your green beans you can’t play outside”. I figure this is normal.
As parents we need all the help we can to put good things in our kids and help them learn healthy habits.
We had the opportunity to try Rhino Gummy Vitamins to see if our kiddos would enjoy them. We have tried other children vitamins in the past but have not been able to stick with it.
These multivitamins come in fun bear shapes in 3 flavors: cherry, berry and citrus.
The recommended dose for children is 2 a day and the bottle says to “keep out of reach of children”. Which I would recommend because our kiddos really liked these vitamins and they don’t need free access to them.
Our routine is to give each kid 2 gummies with breakfast. Remember how I said the kids are picky eaters? Well they are picky about these vitamins too. Curly will only eat the berry flavor, so you have to search for the purple ones for her. Little B only likes the cherry, so you have to find the red ones for her. Luckily Little Man likes them all so whatever you pull out he will eat.
The kiddos are really enjoying these multivitamins and are actually reminding us to give them with breakfast. This morning as I was packed the school lunches Little Man said, “Mom, don’t forget my gummy vitamin!” I would call that a win.
So, let’s talk about what the Rhino Multivitamins have in them:
- Vitamin A, B6, B12, C, D, E
- Calcium
- Folic Acid
- Zinc
And just as important, what is NOT in them:
- Gluten
- Artificial dyes
- High fructose corn syrup
You can find Rhino Gummy Multivitamins at Wal-mart, Target, Whole Foods, Sprouts and Amazon.
One bottle is a 90 day supply for 1 kid so I figure with 3 kids a bottle will last us a month. Now, that does not account for me taking any so a bottle may not last a full month in our house!
