Just because it’s a holiday, doesn’t mean you can’t have a safe Gluten Free meal! Here is your Gluten Free meal plan for Thanksgiving 2017.
The holidays are filled with food, which makes them very stressful if you are a Gluten Free eater. There are so many dangers found at the Thanksgiving table. Whether is it your uncle using the same utensil for your Gluten Free stuffing as the regular stuffing or your aunt telling you to just scrap off the topping of her sweet potato casserole, there are many reasons to be on alert on the holidays.
Here are some tips to survive your Gluten Free Holiday
1 – Bring your own Gluten Free food
2 – Put your food in a different area than the other food
3 – Bring your own utensils
4 – Be the first to the buffet line
5 – Pre-eat if you can’t bring safe food
Our holiday will actually include 3 gatherings, all of which I will be taking food to. Two events are family gatherings and the third is a work event. It will be safer and less stressful if I follow the tips above and bring my own food.
