Weekly Meals March 10 2014

Chaos is the perfect word to describe the last few days for our family.  Last week I was in New Hampshire for a work trip, when North Carolina got hit with the worst ice storm in years.  This left my hubby and kiddos without power.  I came back late Friday night and joined my family at my mom’s house since she had power.  The rest of the weekend was filled with trying to get life settled, getting groceries, playing and trying to find “normal” amongst the chaos.

It is now Sunday night and the kids are sound asleep in their own beds, the lights are on and we’ll try to get back to normal tomorrow.  My office still doesn’t have power so my productivity will be low tomorrow.

Good news is we didn’t lose too much food!  Our deep freezer made it great and we only had to toss a few items from the fridge.  I don’t know about you, but our freezer is filled with Gluten Free food.  I would flat out cry if we had lost all that GF goodness!
