Weekly Menu July 7 2014

We survived the first week of me back to work full time.  It did help that it was only a 4 day week!  Our 3 day weekend was a blast!  We had a cookout with friends Friday that included sprinklers, steaks, mac n cheese, cupcakes and wine.  Saturday we spend the day with family and had another cookout.  More steaks, pasta salad (recipe coming soon), cupcakes, brownies and pie.  I ate loads of desserts this weekend!

I did pick up a cold along the way so I sound like a frog.  You know that cold where your throat is scratchy and you sound funny?  That is the one I have.

Dinners this week will continue down our favorite road “Easy & Fast St.”  Some recipes are from eMeals which is a great option for those needing help with menu planning.  If you want to try eMeals out use the coupon code MEALS10 for 10% off.  We are in our second year of using eMeals and love it!

Monday – Grilled Herb and Garlic Chicken with grilled veggies
– recipe from eMeals

Tuesday – Good old spaghetti – noodles for kiddos, zoodles for adults

Wednesday – Lemon-Herb Pork Chops- recipe from
eMeals

Thursday – Ranch Roast in the slow cooker with mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed zucchini

Friday – Taco Pasta Bake

Saturday – We have a wedding to go to, kids will have leftovers with a babysitter.
