Hello November! Thus begins the busy holiday season of shopping, food, family, stress, travel…. Are you excited or dreading the holidays? As a Gluten Free person the holidays can always be a challenge. I’m working on some holiday treats for you guys so stay tuned!
We had a great Halloween and cold NC weekend. The kiddos did great Friday Trick or Treating. We only went to seven houses but they had a ball. We gave out Gluten Free candy and non-food items. We did have some takers for the non-food treats but the majority still wanted the candy. It was nice to have the option for everyone. Saturday and Sunday were super cold, like snowed in the mountains cold. Brrrr…
This week we are busy as usual so I will be relying on the slow cooker and freezer meals to help us get through the week.
Monday – Sausage and Peppers served with GF pasta
Tuesday – Baked Ziti – I made double last time so this is actually a freezer meal
Wednesday – Dinner out before church
Thursday – Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin in the slow cooker with cornbread stuffing (recipe coming soon!)
Friday – Chicken with White Sauce in the slow cooker
Saturday – Baked Chicken with sides
