Phew – we survived Christmas! How about you? Eat loads of tasty Gluten Free food? Get any fun presents?
We had a busy few days hitting four different family gatherings for Christmas. The kiddos had an absolute blast! The act of getting presents was the best thing ever for them, well to be specific OPENING the presents was the best. Once everything was open they would then actually investigate to see what gifts they got. It was a wonderful holiday and we were blessed to be with our family.
This week the kiddos are out of school so Hubby is taking off to play with them during the day, he’s a keeper! And we are all off on Thursday for New Years Day. This week will be a little off due to all this chaos.
Monday – Sliced ham, tater tots, broccoli and fruit
Tuesday – Chicken Primavera
Wednesday – Chili in the slow cooker with corn bread muffins
Thursday – Family Southern New Year’s Day Meal – greens, black-eyed peas and hog jaw at my Mother-in-law’s house. Don’t ask, it’s a Southern thing.
Friday – Baked Ziti
Saturday – BBQ Pork Chops in the slow cooker
