How is life friends? Do anything fun this past weekend? Has the heat arrived where you are?
We are in the upper 90’s here in North Carolina. The kids have been spending a lot of time splashing around in our little pool.
This week has some fun adventures for our family. Hubby, Curly and I are going white water rafting Monday with the church youth group. We love this trip and can’t wait to share it with Curly. The best part? They can provide a safe Gluten Free lunch for me during the trip. But you know I’ll have a protein bar in my bag just in case!
The three kiddos also have swim class three nights this week. That leads to simple, fast, and slow cooker dinners. I’m going to cook two meat dishes in the slow cooker that we can use for other dishes later in the week.

Monday: Dinner on the road – Five Guys
Tuesday: BBQ Pork – Slow Cooker
Wednesday: Roast Chicken – Slow Cooker
Thursday: Chicken and Broccoli casserole – use leftover chicken from Wednesday
Friday: BBQ quesadilias – use leftover pork from Tuesday
Saturday: Shepard’s Pie
