Holiday Baking Essentials Giveaway

With the holidays right around the corner now is a great time to get loaded down with some awesome Gluten Free baking mixes!  Moon Rabbit Foods is a great Gluten Free company out of North Carolina.  They use Premium Cassava Flour in their mixes.  The texture is great and so is the taste.  The products have been created by Mark Hetzel a professional pastry chef.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Mark and Eric, the sales and marketing guys, at a number of Gluten Free expos.  They have a large product line but my favorites are their cake mixes, brownie mix and pie dough.  I used their pie dough to make some rockin’ blueberry hand pies a while back!

Moon Rabbit Foods is being super generous and giving away a WHOLE CASE of products!

It includes a box of:

Chocolate Cake
Yellow Cake
Pie Dough
Pancake/ Waffle
Biscuit /Scone
Cornbread

They will also be including some recipes to go alone with the mixes!

Whoever wins this case of goodies will be set for loads of holiday cooking!

My favorite recipe during the holidays would be the vintage candies. Recipes have been handed down for generations in our family.

I always make three or four batches of cookies to take to the various holiday parties we have on the days leading up to Christmas. My favorite recipe is from my grandma’s recipe box called chocolate-filled snowballs. They’re basically a delicate butter cookie wrapped around a hershey kiss rolled in powdered sugar.

I love making fudge during the holidays! Pretty much whenever we get invited anywhere I get asked to bring it! And it’s so easy I actually have time to make it!
