Jules Shepard is a pioneer in the Gluten Free world. She has created amazing Gluten Free flour blends, making mixes, she spearheaded the 1 in 133 campaign and played a huge part in the recent Gluten Free labeling laws. As if that isn’t enough she is a really legit cool person! I am honored to say I know her and call her my friend.
Due to crazy drama Jules has left her original company and now runs GFJules. This is where you need to go to find Jules amazing flour blends and baking mixes. I have been more than blessed to enjoy many of her mixes and her flour. They are some of my absolute favorites! You can buy these epic mixes online from Jules (PS if you sign up for her newsletter she sends out discount codes!) or you can use the store locator on her websites.
Jules is very talented at recipe creation. You can check out her recipes here. I have pinned a million of them!
To help spread the word about the real GFJules and her new company, Jules hooked us up with a sandwich bread mix and the cookie mix. To say I was anxious about making the bread would be an understatement. Yeast and I do not have a good relationship and I literally had a nightmare about messing up this bread. To my amazement I followed Jules’ recipe and actually made awesome sandwich bread! Our family devoured this loaf in under two days! WOW – I need more of this stuff. If I can make this bread, anyone can.
Next it was time for the cookies. I have tried more Gluten Free cookie mixes than I can count, but Jules’ takes the cake. They are mind blowing good. Hubby’s direct comment was, “Way to go Jules!” I have since bagged them so I can share them at church and see if anyone can tell they are Gluten Free. Truly a rock star cookie mix.
Since Jules rocks, she is allowing me to host a giveaway to win two boxes of her flours or mixes.
