Weekly Menu July 21 2014 #celiacdisease @F3Foods

This week is going to be different in our house; first, hubby is out of town on a mission trip, second I’m trying a new meal prep program and third, I will be stuffing my kiddos with Gluten.  In particular the twins will have nothing but solid Gluten all week.

Why would I do this you ask?  Well, this Friday we are taking them to get more Celiac Disease testing.  We have already done the DNA blood test that shows they are both carriers of the DQ2 gene.  Without going into crazy medical details, research shows that over 90% of Celiacs have this gene.  So our next step is to meet with a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and get some more blood work done to see if they have the antibodies.  To be honest I am a hot mess of emotion about this.  I hope to have answers soon so we can move on and do what needs to be done one way or the other.  Freaking out.

Now to a happier topic; the new meal prep plan I’m using this week is called F3 Foods.  It is a fresh-cooked, pre-portioned meal system designed to help you lose weight, increase muscle and improve energy levels.  All of their food is also Gluten Free, soy free, has no processed sugars, and peanut free.  They also use a 100% Gluten and peanut free facility.  I can also say all the ingredients!

7 Days of food for me! Already made! It’s like a dream!

How it works is you select your plan, 7 day, 28 day or a la cart, select your food, select your delivery date and then eat.  The plans include breakfast, lunch and dinner.  So you literally get to do zero cooking!  I’m super excited to try this plan out and see how it goes.  It is perfect timing since hubby is gone so all I have to do is cook for the kiddos.  If you want to try out F3 Foods you can use this discount code XBLG13 for $50 off a 7 day plan or $100 off a $28 day plan.  I’ll write a full review when my 7 days are up.

For this week’s meals I’m going to highlight some of our family favorites! Enjoy!

Monday – One Dish Wonder

Tuesday – Pepperoni Bake

Wednesday – Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Bake

Thursday – Pancakes and eggs

Friday – Beef Lo Mein

Saturday – Crunchy Cheddar Chicken Nuggets
